-Insert Catchy Title-

Greetings and salutations fellow blogtarians, other people of the internet and quite possibly some rather rad, inter-galactic space dudes searching the World Wide Web for intelligent human life (in which, F.Y.I I do not make the cut…). However, if there are any aliens out there that have stumbled across this here blog feel free to stick around--all I’m saying is that if you do abduct me, you’ll probably be disappointed and when you try and return me-earth probably won’t have me back.

Anyway, I’m kind of going off topic (just a tad). The purpose of this post other than it being the very first one is to:

1. Congratulate you on finding my small space on the internet in which I own and;
2. Beg you to stay...

Now I guess as this is the first post I suppose you want to know what this blog is all about. Well the truth is: I’m not too sure… (yet). The thing is, I used to have a blog but, I just wasn’t happy with it, I posted irregularly and when I did post something it lacked quality. I’ve decided to start fresh as I did love blogging and hopefully this one will be a better one than my last.

I am inspired by Tavi and all things Rookie so if you know of that than I think we can be friends and if you don’t, I think we can be friends anyway-all I am saying is that my blog will hopefully reflect the same sort of style as all that jazz (meaning rookie not actual jazz although jazz is pretty groovy)… I love the show Freaks and Geeks and I read way too much. So I guess this blog will include my strange sense of style, weird artsy stuff that I am into, angsty teen paranoia and will be just drowning in general awesomeness.

 So hopefully you’ve managed to read through all of that and finally I can share with you my findings from today:

Today I went to A bookstore and bought Tales Of The Jazz Age by F. Scott Fitzgerald because I read The Great Gatsby and saw the movie and absolutely adored both! I recommend both to anyone that has not read/watched it and have been wanting so read some of his other books. I was also lucky enough to fins a shirt with the original cover illustration printed on the front! It was the last one and is size XXL but I love the fact it is oversized and can't wait to wear it! I absolutely had to buy it when I saw that it was on sale from $29.95 down to $9.95 I mean come on, did I have a choice?

Firstly I would love to point out that they came in a brown paper bag and even though it makes it harder to carry it's so super cute and I wish everything came in brown paper bags...As you can see I got a little excited and took too many photos holding my lil' bag.

As for what I am wearing: the dress is a hand-me-down that I have never worn before but absolutely love. It has buttons all the way down and is a dark green and white tie-dye pattern with sleeves. Utter gorge mc gorgyness,,, The socks are kind of sheer/mesh and are from a pop up store and the shoes are from Valley Girl, I saw someone point to them and say "wow, they're ugly!" So I had to buy them! Just a pretty simple outfit as it was a pretty simple day.

Tahh Dahh!!! I hope you made it through this very long post and hopefully you enjoyed it! I hope to write again soon... :)
